A Canadian press release from Lomiko caught my eye and not just for the clumsy headline “European Union 5 Billion Euro Graphene Research Fund Goliath Moves to Commercialization Efforts While Lomiko Efforts Start to Bear Fruit”
Obviously the regulators of the Toronto Stock Exchange don’t require the same level of accuracy as their London counterparts. It’s a billion euros, not five. But after years of “big opportunities for small stuff” nanotech headlines I like the fresh twist on linking something big with something small. It’s a little like putting out a press release linking Katy Perry’s Superbowl show with my karaoke efforts in the local pub.
More importantly it shows that Europe is doing something right, at least in comparison to Canada.
