What a difference a couple of years can make.
Two years ago when Greenpeace took a look at nanotechnologies and concluded that there were positive and negative aspects and a balanced view was needed, they were dismissed as “industrial terrorists.” Now the same organisations are calling for 10% of nanotech funding to be spent on studies of the impact of nanomaterials.
(nano) Safety is an issue that governments have been aware of for so long that they are already funding the research. Its a bandwagon that has already left the building…
